Gurbani Says, "Karmi Avai Kapra". The birth happens according to one's Karma's. The birth itself here means the monetary as well as other social conditions in which a person is born, the parents and other relationships that he comes into contact with, during his lifetime and the life events are all chosen carefully.
They are chosen according to KARMA - past life THOUGHTS (including DESIRES and MEMORIES) as well as ACTIONS.
The past life EMOTIONS (MEMORIES), DESIRES AND ACTIONS collectively indicate the path the soul wishes to take for its own spiritual development. Until we realise what LESSON we were meant to learn from a certain situation, for our soul's development; we are faced with similar situations again and again. So if you think why it always happens to me, don't see yourself as a victim. Try to ask the question - What is it that I am meant to learn from this? The moment you realise that, you will no longer be handling that problem again in life. The soul will move on to the next lesson. Life is not about collecting wealth or status but about your soul's development. This development process doesn't end when one physical life ends. This process continues until the soul has no more DESIRES AND MEMORIES. This the point of Soul's development that Buddhist call Nirvana, Hindu's call Moksha, Sikh's call Mukti and Christians call it Salvation I think.
There are two paths we can choose from, to reach the final stage of our Soul's development. One through KARMA Yoga - by trying to do the right action. The reason we need to do this is that the moment we do something wrong by someone, we are trapped in their MEMORY. Therefore, we are bound in a relationship with them by KARMA, ready to build the framework for the next encounter in this life. If the emotional issue is not resolved in this lifetime, you are set by KARMA to have a relationship with this person in the next lifetime and the next, until both soul's have learnt their lesson and have built enough COMPASSION to forgive every past action and no longer have the desire to either LOVE or HATE this particular soul. LOVE and HATE are both bondages that create KARMA. The second method is by NAAM JAP - Meditation.
How did I realise this? Theoratically I have known this all along. But I had a very strage meditation experience that made me realise this in a profound way.
MEDITATION EXPERIENCE when I tried to get rid of the Karma
In meditation, I prayed to relieve me of any karmic relationship with a specific person. I prayed to settle the account right now.
I do not want any desires or emotions, +ve or -ve, attached to this person. So far I had tried to not keep any hard feeling. Every effort to help this person by sending the healing energy, guiding to meditate etc obviously had failed miserably as the psychic dreamwalking revealed. I didn't want to do shielding for this reason anymore. I wanted a lasting solution.
So here I am in deep meditation and suddenly the energy started rushing straight out from my heart centre straight towards this person with a feeling of compassion. I was puzzled and tried to interrupt saying I do not want any kind of relationship. And why is the energy going out from within. This has never happened before. Every other time, the energy has come inwards from outside. I was worried that my collected energy is being used. Then I thought of many other people that I have grudge towards and thought while a flood of compassionate energy is being released with such force, I may as well give it to other people that I don't want any -ve emotions towards. So I visualized a few other people but the energy just kept going to this person ignoring the people in between, within that straight line. I can't tell what was the colour of that energy. Was it green. or purple or a mix? I don't think it was 100% clear like water, like the colour of the pranic energy that comes from above.
Later I realised that I had asked to settle the score and give this person whatever I owe him. So the energy released in his direction was what I owed, which I would have to give over the years or lives. When no more energy could be released, it stopped as if there was no more of it left. Then I saw a very grand building that was being built. Next the building was gone and even the foundation of the building had been ripped and all that was left there was the dug up soil. So I understand that all KARMA has been released and I am back to square one in this particular case. Yes, I feel the equilibrium from deep within.
LESSON 1: Do not take your emotions lightly. Any thought, no matter how small, is shaping your future and affecting others involved in your thought. The worst part is that if you have a -ve thought about the other person, it first affects you before it affects the other person.
LESSON 2: The soul doesn't see a difference between you and the other person. At soul level we are one. So to heal yourself, you have to heal the other person at the same time.
LESSON 3: when you say, "I don't care what the other person thinks of me. I know I am ethically right." It is not enough. The other person's desires are also shaping your future.

Past Life Regression theraphy helps heal Karma issues
I have been reading the book "Through time into Healing: how past life regression theraphy can heal mind, body and soul by Dr Brian Weiss". This book is written by a Dr giving pages full of examples on how this therapy healed different people in different situations. In the Appendix, it also gives you steps to go through your own regression session. The author has made clear thro several examples how souls incarnate in groups and change relationship, genders and roles but continue facing same challenges until they learn their lesson and are ready to move on and the most important thing is LOVE, not to get through life as a materially successful person. My dad use to talk about souls coming and going in groups.
This morning I had the insight that the regression method is a long winded road. Even after the healing of one aspect which might take several regression sessions, you still have other issues and the new issues will crop up as life goes on. So this is not the best solution or the road for me.
When I had a successful meditation session and the green healing Gemstone came inside and sent green healing energy to every cell of my body, that was real magic. I didn't need to think of any particular parts of my body or of events that would have given me those injuries. It simply healed the whole body. I use to suffer lower back pain as well as really bad shoulder pain. It all went in seconds and never came back. That is why Guruji says that when you Jap Naam - Meditate on the creator, all your Karma's nullified. You no longer need to suffer those injuries from past negative memories and no longer need to come again to repay these souls that you have been re-incarnating with. So meditating and remembering God without asking for anything is better than Regression therapy and also better than asking for petty things.
Read the following article, it has great information on emotions and how they affect us in the long term.Regression Therapy
Also see this video on Hypnosis, After watching this I realised that Regression is also going into hypnosis state and meditation is actually Self-hypnosis where we get rid of rubbish programs of our brain, stuffed by other people and situations and reprogram ourselves.

Hilarious Meditation Experience
On last Saturday I had a funny meditation session. I usually pray to receive the gift of singing so I can sing Gods praises.
After the chanting, in the quiet moment I saw an African black man. Then I saw 3 or 4 different african faces. I was puzzled as I have never met an African in meditation. Then I realised that Africans are known for their marvelous singing. So I asked this African man who had something white on, what was his name. He said Michael. I felt like laughing and asked you mean Michael Jackson? He didn't bother to respond to that but said that he would help me sing and dance. I felt amused but didn't want to offend him just in case it was a serious offer. I asked him to come everyday without waiting for me to call him as I want to sing God's praises in the most beautiful way. I am still laughing at that. Was it really Michael Jackson?
Whatever it was, my throat chakra had the intense burning sensation prior to the vision and also I feel that my heart chakra is overactive. There is intense heat in my throat and deep inside my ears as well. Throat is lumpy and ears uncomfortable. This got be part of the Throat chakra awakening. I am hoping for the energy to balance out soon. I did feel this intense heat in the throat in early 2009. Hoping all my higher chakras are once again awakening.
Last night I wrote a few very emotional poems in Panjabi. Throat is also the chakra of communication, so its got to be the result of the combined force of Throat and Heart Chakras.
A Panjabi Poem Ik Vaar Mere Lai Avenga? I wrote last night pleading Guru Nanak to visit my troubled life, for I can't keep Work Life Balance and can't find enough time to meditate or to spend time with my children to teach them important lessons.

Books of Alice A Bailey are full of knowledge
I have just discovered this non-fiction author and am impressed with the amount of detailed knowledge. She does refer to Patanjali etc sources of Hindu literature as well as others.
Guru Nanak writes that all reading and listening is in vein if one doesn't contemplate. On p.139 of 'From Intellect to Intuition' ISBN 9780853301080, 0853301085, Alice quoted
Cardinal Richelieu's words on contemplation, as the stage, "in which man sees and knows God without using the imagination and without discursive reasoning."
Alice says that contemplation has been described as a psychic gateway, leading from one state of consciousness to another.
Jeremy Taylor calls it the "transition from intense meditation to that contemplation which attains to the vision of the wonders of God, as the human soul enters the realm of the divine light."
Francois Malaval, wrote in 17th century, "This act (contemplation) is also more perfect than reasoning because in reasoning the soul speaks, whilst in this act it enjoys. Reasoning ... convinces the soul by its principles, but here the soul is rather illuminated than convinced, it sees rather than examines. "
Alice further says that through this gateway of vision the man passes and finds himself to be the soul, the perceiver, who can perceiver equally the world of spiritual realities anf the world of daily experience; he can look, if he so chooses, in either direction. .....the triplicity of soul, mind and brain must play their part, but with a different orientation and attention. It becomes simply a question of focus.
The brain is active towards the instincts and habits which guide our physical plane. life and appetites. Through right education, the brain learns to respond to thought impressions of the mind.
The mind has a tendency to record all outer information. It can be trained to be receptive towards the soul and to register information coming from that higher source. In time, we can learn to bring about a perfect interplay between the three.

Guru Nanak's path asks for the right feeling not right breathing
Although I find it very useful to know about breathing patterns and methods, Guru Nanak has clearly said that simply by right postures and breathing exercises one can't find God. You will read in the Kundalini Yoga sites and books to not involve feeling. Feeling and emotions are considered dangerous in awakening kundalini quickly when the body is not ready to handle the experience. They are right in a limited sense. What these yogies are not aware of is that Kundalini can't be awakened by one's own efforts (Exercises etc). One can never be ready for a kundalini awakening experience. It is something that happens in its own time when the person feels the urge to meet God. The only word of caution useful when kundalini awakens is to not get scared and change your mind about meeting God, even if that generates the feeling that you are about to die. Do not try to stop the experience as the rising kundalini can't be stopped even if you break the meditation. The most important thing to do at this time is to keep the mind stable. Have faith, have your urge and Love for God, and it will be Ok.
About the blocked nose issue, if you try to use pranayama to clear your nostril, if you have a cold, which I have done, it takes a lot of effort and then as soon as you are finished with the exercise, it is blocked again. Whereas if you just do meditation without worrying about the blocked nose, you will realise that within 15 minutes the heat will be generated within you which will clear the blocked nose without any effort.
My Kundalini had risen upto my throat one time. It was scary to hear the hissing sound and the fact that something is moving inside you and you can't control it. I didn't know how it would proceed further from throat to the next level. I hadn't seen the diagram then. It stayed at the throat for a couple of day, during this time I had the urge to sing all day. It was useful for my own knowledge lateron, to see the path of kundalini from the throat to the sides of the forehead.
2nd time the kundalini aroused, it went from 2nd (sacrel chakra to the 3rd solar plexus. It was 11pm at night and I woke up as I heard something inside me. I could hear the noise like someone diving in the water, then the hissing and a few minutes later an explosion of flashing light that went from my abdoment strainght to my head. I did write a blog that night with what I was feeling. This time really got worried before the explosion and that is the very reason that it did go through the sushmina. I had already read about keeping the level head but I still couldn't remain calm.

Nostril Breathing for Revitalizing energy or meditative state
I have noticed that mostly my right nostril is blocked. No wonder I am always tired and don't have enough energy. The sites below are confirming that right nostril breathing gives Revitalizing breath for physical energy. It also removes Kafa (mucus) imbalance. So if you have sinus or asthma try breathing through right nostril. Right NB is also helps weight loss, they claim. It is the masculine energy which gives heat, competitiveness and force.
So what does the left nostril breathing do? Its feminine, nurturing, calm and cool. The moon energy. It has sedating and calming effect, good for meditative state. Since one of the following sites claims that Diabetics mainly breath through the right nostril, may be breathing through left will help them.

It is interesting that left nostril controls the right brain and vice versa
Left Brain is Logical, Sequential, Rational, Analytical, Objective and looks at parts.
Right Brain is Random, Intuitive, Holistic, Synthesizing, Subjective and looks at whole.
Modern society values, rewards and respects left brain thinkers more than right brain thinkers. Right-brained thinkers focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity. This is the side that evolves when we meditate.
In yoga system, Ida nadi is the lunar, feminine, nurturing side while pingala is the sun, masculine, logical side. Alternate-nostril breathing is effective in balancing ida and pingala. This practice is effective because the ida nadi is directly connected to the left nostril, and the pingala nadi to the right. http://www.yogajournal.com/wisdom/927

In meditation, the first time I saw the purple light, I was so excited and had a joyful feeling. I played with this light and then opened my eyes. That was the end of that meditation. Little did I kno wthat it was merely an indication that I was entering deep meditation. I thought seeing that light was the goal.
You might see or feel one of the following which will distract you from continuing meditation.
(1) mental visions of brilliant or bright light
(2) arising of rapturous feelings
(3) arising of feelings of calmness
(4) strong devotional feelings relating to Buddha and Dhamma
(5) great enthusiasm to carry out the practice of meditation
(6) joyful feelings
(7) extremely rapid, clear and purified perception of senseobjects
(8) the capability of practising mindfulness without missing to note any sensation that needs be contemplated.
(9) the capability to contemplate automatically without making particular effort.
(10) feeling of subtle pleasure in the contemplation.
"The meditator (disciple) is so much encouraged and elated that he cannot remain mute and cannot help recounting his experiences. After having come to this decision if the contemplation is carried on in continuity, those feelings of contentment and satisfaction and mental visions of light will gradually decrease, and the perception of the objects will become clearer and clearer with awareness. A fine line - Spirituality and Magic
The techniques of meditation are the same but the ultimate focus and result of the two is very different. Spirituality seeks light from the universal source and magicians steel light from other living beings and thus break their own connection with the ultimate source of light. Magicians are forever starved of the light and need a new target to get more light from thus depleting other people's light. Why not follow the spiritual path and benefit yourself and others? The ultimate source / God never runs our of light where as any other source eventually will.
Just read the book Psychic dreamwalking : explorations at the edge of self / Michelle Belanger.
In this book, the author has confessed how she is an energy vampire and needs other peoples energy. Clearly, psychic dreamwalking is trying to alter the world according to one's wishes and not in line with the Hukum / God's Will which is a necessary condition if you are seeking energy from the ultimate source / God.
Chapter 9 of this book was important for me to understand as I had experienced Psychic attack and didn't know that this concept exists. This made me learn about shielding and protection. One rule of the universe is that you must ask for it before you can receive. So I wasn't going to receive protection automatically, jus cos I do mediation. At the start of each meditation I now pray for protection from any harmful energies. Simply say this and feel that your intent has been heard and you are now protected. Magicians also work with intent but the problem with their intent is that it looks after their personal interest or the interest of their client and not of the other parties. Whereas the spiritual person seeks everyone's benefit and goodwill - "Sarbat Da Bhala".

Astral Projection verses Etheric projection - Akashic records
http://www.crystalinks.com/astralprojection.html
The above source mentions Monroe method. I feel good to read that the light patterns seen in meditation are merely neural discharges and one should ignore them. Its just an indication that we are entering deeper relaxation. We need to go to even deeper relaxation stage where we do not feel our body at all. After this stage comes the auto-pilot where your mind is not in control. Some external program starts running. Its been long since I expereinced that auto-pilot stage. How much I want to enter that stage! On the site mentioned above there are other menthods mentioned as well, I haven't read them yet.
Step One:
Relax the body. According to Monroe, "the ability to relax is the first prerequisite, perhaps even the first step itself" to having an OBE. (out of body experience). This includes both physical and mental relaxation. Monroe does not suggest a method of attaining this relaxation, although progressive muscle relaxation, coupled with deep breathing exercises (inhale 1, exhale 2, inhale 3... until about 50 or 100) are known to work well.
Step Two:
Enter the state bordering sleep. This is known as the hypnogogic state. Once again, Monroe doesn't recommend any method of doing this. One way is to hold your forearm up, while keeping your upper arm on the bed, or ground. As you start to fall asleep, your arm will fall, and you will awaken again. With practice you can learn to control the hypnogogic state without using your arm. Another method is to concentrate on an object. When other images start to enter your thoughts, you have entered the hypnogogic state. Passively watch these images. This will also help you maintain this state of near-sleep. Monroe calls this Condition A.
Step Three:
Deepen this state. Begin to clear your mind. Observe your field of vision through your closed eyelids at the blackness in front of your. After a while you may start to notice light patterns. These are simply neural discharges. They have no specific effect. Ignore them. When they cease, one has entered what Monroe calls Condition B. From here, one must enter an even deeper state of relaxation which Monroe calls Condition C-- a state of such relaxation that you lose all awareness of the body and sensory stimulation. You are almost in a void in which your only source of stimulation will be your own thoughts.
The ideal state for leaving your body is Condition D. This is Condition C when it is voluntarily induced from a rested and refreshed condition and is not the effect of normal fatigue. To achieve Condition D, Monroe suggests that you practice entering it in the morning just as you are getting up, or after a short nap.
Step Four:
Enter a state of Vibration. This is the most important part of the technique, and also the most vague. Many projectors have noted these vibrations at the onset of projection. They can be experienced as a mild tingling, or as if electricity is being shot through the body. Their cause is a mystery. It may actually be the astral body trying to leave the physical body.
For entering into the vibrational state, he offers the following directions:
1. Remove all jewelry or other items that might be touching your skin.
2. Darken the room so that no light can be seen through your eyelids, but do not shut out all light.
3. Lie down with your body along a north-south axis, with your head pointed toward magnetic north.
4. Loosen all clothing, but keep covered so that you are slightly warmer than what might normally be comfortable.
5. Be sure you are in a location where, and at a time when, there will be absolutely no noise to disturb you.
6. Enter a state of relaxation.
7. Give yourself the mental suggestion that you will remember all that occurs during the upcoming session that will be beneficial to your well being. Repeat this five times.
8. As your breathe, concentrate on the void in front of you.
9. Select a point a foot away from your forehead, then change your point of mental reference to six feet.
10. Turn the point 90 degrees upward by drawing an imaginary line parallel to your body axis up above you head. Focus there and reach out for the vibrations at that point and bring them back into your body.
Even if you don't know what these vibrations are, you will know when you have achieved contact with them.
Step Five:
Learn to control the vibrational state. Practice controlling them by mentally pushing them into your head, down to your toes, making them surge throughout your entire body, and producing vibrational waves from head to foot. To produce this wave effect, concentrate on the vibrations and mentally push a wave out of your head and guide it down your body. Practice this until you can induce these waves on command. Once you have control of the vibrational state, you are ready to leave the body.
Step Six:
Begin with a partial separation. The key here is thought control. Keep your mind firmly focused on the idea of leaving the body. Do not let it wander. Stray thoughts might cause you to lose control of the state.
Now having entered the vibrational state, begin exploring the OBE by releasing a hand or a foot of the "second body". Monroe suggests that you extend a limb until it comes in contact with a familiar object, such as a wall near your bed. Then push it through the object. Return the limb by placing it back in to coincidence with the physical one, decrease the vibrational rate, and then terminate the experiment. Lie quietly until you have fully returned to normal. This exercise will prepare you for full separation.
Step Seven:
Dissociate yourself from the body. Monroe suggests two methods for this. One method is to lift out of the body. To do this, think about getting lighter and lighter after entering the vibrational state. Think about how nice it would be to float upward. Keep this thought in mind at all costs and let no extraneous thoughts interrupt it. An OBE will occur naturally at this point.
Another method is the "Rotation Method" or "roll-out" technique. When you have achieved the vibrational state, try to roll over as if you were turning over in bed. Do not attempt to roll over physically. Try to twist your body from the top and virtually roll over into your second body right out of your physical self. At this point, you will be out of the body, but next to it. Think of floating upward, and you should find yourself floating above the body.
Shambhala Meditation
hI had saved this link from some time, on this blog. Going back to it was so useful. It helped me centre myself immediately and I felt the sensation on the top of the head which I wasn't feeling from a few months now.
This site also answered why I felt the presure between my shoulder blades. It says, "Now move your attention to the area of your back, between your shoulder blades, where your thymus gland is. This is your true heart chakra. Many ones would know it as the higher heart.".
Simply feeling, as I read made it better for me. It also answered the Chautha Pad question. "Nanak Chauthe pad main so jan gat pahen". Shambala says that in 4th dimention we are light. Therefore, conected to the superconscious / universal mind.
Read the whole meditation on

(You can change some words of meditation to suit your belief, like instead of Mahatma, you can say Waheguru or whatever you are comfortable with.)
Below I have copied a few lines from this source.
So now make the affirmation within your mind: "I am a fourth/fifth dimensional being. I am Light." And now repeat in your minds; "Now you know, now you understand, that what you have just witnessed on a cellular Level has nothing to do with the third dimension." And now repeat: "I affirm my four body system is now fourth dimensional. I Am That I Am."
And now I would ask you to visualise your four body system.. First of all be aware of your physical body, to which your etheric body is attached. Then your emotional body, which is nine inches beyond your physical body. Then your mental body, which is about sixteen inches beyond your emotional body. And beyond your mental body is your spiritual body, which is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.
I would also ask you to think of the reason why you are in your physical body. It's because of your emotional body. Now by breathing out, see those things which are no longer needed being released from those areas of your cellular body that are not in harmony. As you breath out, breath out the fear from your cellular structure. As you breath in, breath in the energy of Mahatma, this silver and gold energy. After each in breath affirm, "I am the Mahatma." And as you breath out affirm, " I am free from fear. I am Love."
Now we will just take a brief moment to again allow that gold and silver energy to flow through us to our Solar Stars into our cellular structure, through our Earth Stars into Mother Earth, through yourselves, and see yourselves becoming enlightened, becoming beings of Light. And now concentrate again on your out-breaths, breathing out to release that crystallised third dimensional consciousness. On the out breaths see it leaving your physical body, passing through your emotional body, through your mental body and into your spiritual body, (this spiritual body of course is your Lightbody ). See this crystallisation of fear. See these crystallisation's of misdirected energies being transformed into Light.

How the Mind Works and the superconscious that a meditator is interested in
The info below is useful to understand what happens to the mind in a meditative state and how we are able to get information from a higher source that knows.
This info has been taken from http://www.hypnoresults.com.au/PastLifeRegressionWorkshopManual.pdf
a 14 page document produced by Lorna Simmons, who is a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist, who practises at her “HypnoResults” clinic in Hillcrest, Brisbane, Queensland.
How the Mind Works
We all have four states of consciousness the mind moves through:
1) The full wide awake conscious state is called Beta.
2) The Alpha states involve light, medium and deeper trance levels. The lighter states are used for meditation, and are associated with recovering childhood memories and past trauma. This state is useful for behavior modification, such as stop smoking or weight issues. The deeper state of Alpha is used to access Past Lives.
3) The Theta state is as deep as we get before losing consciousness and going into sleep, which is the Delta state. The Theta state uncovers the area of the superconscious mind that revels the spiritual life between lives activity.
4) The Delta state is our final deep sleep state. We all go through all these states in the natural process of sleep every night, which is then reversed when we wake.
The Conscious Mind
Technically speaking, each of us only has one mind. But this one mind has three parts to it.
! Conscious Mind.
! Subconscious Mind.
! Superconscious Mind.
Your conscious mind is only 10% of your mind and is the part that thinks, analyses and contains your short term memory only. However, the conscious mind power is limited and the most important conscious mind power is the power to decide. It has the power to decide what information will enter into your subconscious mind.
Your conscious mind also has the power to reprogram your subconscious mind, mainly through repetition. For instance, can you remember the first time you learnt to drive a car, when you had to consciously think of which peddle to press and which gear to shift.
You no longer have to consciously think of these actions. They have become automatic, i.e. you are able to do it subconsciously. Through repetition, you have programmed your subconscious mind and created a habit and once a habit is in your subconscious, it becomes automatic. While it’s true for driving a car, it is also true for achieving success in life!
Subconscious Mind
Your subconscious mind is much bigger than your conscious mind and is 90% of your mind. This part of your mind is like a computer, and plays many different roles in your life. The subconscious mind is concerned with emotions, imagination and long term memory.
This part of your mind also governs your autonomic nervous system, which automatically controls your internal organs: how you breath, send oxygen to your blood cells or walk without using the conscious mind. This is also the part of your mind where your habits and addictions, fears and trauma are stored. The internal mind or subconscious mind runs on autopilot and is not logical and can be compared to the hard drive on your computer.
This inner part of your mind is made up of lots of programs like on a computer. These programs communicate to your outer logic mind through your thoughts and feelings. Once a program is installed in your computer mind it just runs automatically unless you decide you no longer need it and then you can uninstall or delete it if you know how. Most people don’t know how. An example of a negative program running in your subconscious mind is the habit of smoking.
Superconscious Mind
The first two minds are within us, but the Superconscious Mind is without. The Superconscious Mind is the mind of our Higher Self, beyond the ego. Your Subconscious Mind is linked to the Superconscious Mind or Universal Mind and is your link to the spirit realms and to your guides and is responsible for helping you to learn your soul lessons.
The Superconscious Mind gives you dreams, thoughts, visions, inspiration, speaks through other people, gives you synchronicity, psychic and divination experiences, and so on.
However, if you do not learn the easy way it will set up lessons of tough love to help you learn what you need to learn. It will never give you more than you can handle. It is a completely unconditionally loving consciousness, whose job is to help you become an Enlightened Being and Integrated Spiritual Master.
There is only one Superconscious Mind (the Universal Mind), to which all of our minds are connected to and is Infinite Intelligence.
This is the part of the mind we access when we experience a Life Between Life Regression session.

The Pineal Gland: Spiritual Awakening and Astral Projection
The article below is from the following source

I have copied it here as I believe this information to be true. This article has not mentioned anything about how to awaken the 3rd eye and the role of heart chakra and the role of feeling and intent in awakening the 3rd eye. Read Samuel Sagan's book "Awakening the 3rd eye for guidance".

I have copied it here as I believe this information to be true. This article has not mentioned anything about how to awaken the 3rd eye and the role of heart chakra and the role of feeling and intent in awakening the 3rd eye. Read Samuel Sagan's book "Awakening the 3rd eye for guidance".
What is the Pineal Gland?
The pineal gland is shaped like a pine cone and is about the size of a pea. It is located in the geometric center of the brain between both the left and right hemispheres of the brain. It is tucked in a small “cave” where both thalamic bodies join and is attached behind the eyes to the third ventricle. It is not isolated from the body from the blood-brain barrier systems.
Fluoride is found in water and toothpaste. When calcium builds up in soft tissue, it causes it to harden. Studies have shown that calcium affects the pineal gland more than it affects teeth or bone. Phosphorus and calcium in the pineal gland are linked to aging.
The pineal gland controls various biological rhythms of the body. It works in harmony with the gland which directs the body’s thirst, hunger, sexual desire, and like I mentioned above, the aging process.
Many believe that it is associated with the sixth chakra. Awakening the pineal gland is linked to prophecy and increased psychic awareness. It is also considered to be linked with consciousness Ascension.
The pineal gland is also referred to as the ‘third eye’ or ‘mind’s eye’. It is located in the center of the brain so many people think to the Great Pyramids which are in the center of the physical planet. Strange coincidence being that both the all-seeing eye and the pyramids are on the American dollar bill?
Activation of the Pineal Gland
The pineal gland is activated by light. Many people have reported feeling a pressure at the base of the brain after having their pineal gland awakened. This pressure can be experienced when one connects to a higher frequency.
It is said that when the pineal gland or ‘third eye’ is awakened, one is able to see beyond space time into time space. It raises the frequency on which one operates and moves one into a higher consciousness. All forms of out-of-body travel coincide with the third eye. This includes meditation, visualization, and yoga. Once the third eye is awakened, you will be able to see beyond the physical world.
As one practices opening the ‘third eye’, it will come more naturally to you if you practice frequently. Dream messages and supernatural abilities will increase. Many begin practicing with their eyes closed but in time and with much practice, one will be able to see into the spiritual world of time space with their physical eyes open.
When the pineal gland is activated, it becomes the line of communication with the spiritual world and those beyond it. The crown chakra moves down towards the pineal gland in a vortex. When the vortex touches the pineal gland, pure energy is received. This pure energy is also called Prana. The more one practices, the higher the vibrations in the body raise and the astral body will then be able to separate from the physical body.
In order to even activate the pineal gland, the pituitary body must vibrate in unison with the pineal gland. This can happen with mediation and relaxation when the personality which operates through the pituitary gland is in harmony with the soul which operates through the pineal gland, a magnetic filed is created.
All forces, both negative and positive form together to become strong and and create a “light in the head”. The pineal gland is then active. A person can then withdraw from their physical bodies and carry this light with them into whichever realm they choose to go.
Astral Projection
Astral projection is associated with this light in the head. After meditation and after the body has completely let go of worldly needs and it’s ego, one can try to activate the pineal gland through pure relaxation by staring at the point in the middle of the forehead.
One must first start to feel a withdrawal from his senses as well as a withdrawal from the physical conscious (the ego). Visualize your physical body escaping through a door in the brain.
People who have had near death experiences have experienced astral projection. Many report hearing a “popping” sound when the astral body separates from the physical body.
Visualization is the first step in directing the energy of the body to activate the pineal gland. Once the magnetic field is created, it surrounds the pineal gland. The creative imagination visualizes something and the thought energy of the mind gives it life and direction.
Developing the third eye is very important if one wishes to separate from the physical form. Intuition can also become stronger with third eye development. When the third eye begins to activate, flashes of memory and knowledge of the astral plane will begin to happen. They will become more and more frequent as the third eye becomes stronger and stronger with practice until universal knowledge is acquired.
When reaching certain frequencies, worldly needs and the ego begin to diminish. This is the ‘theta’ state which means we are still conscious yet resting while feeling at peace with ourselves. As the brain enters deeper states of consciousness, we begin to become less concerned with the physical world.
Spiritual Evolution
Humans have been evolving out of matter for quite some time, and are still evolving further and further. We went from spirit to matter, and now we are moving back into spirit. The pineal gland has continued to rise and will eventually bring to humans astral capacities and spiritual abilities.
The vibrations of the planet and the frequencies of the planets have been accelerated at an extremely fast rate, even exponentially, and have allowed souls to look deeper into other times and realms. Consciousness will eventually evolve out of the physical state into a higher, more spiritual state.

Must continue meditation daily
No matter what others say about meditation, one can't understand the depth of it until one experiences it. Similarly you don't realise how lucky you are to experience that peace, connection and knowledge until you have lost it.
Trying to feel the vibrartion and achieve that natural rhythm of chanting waheguru with breath use to be everyday fun activity during my journey to and from work. It's an effort now. Why can't I feel the vibrartion on the top three chakra points?
The sensation is instead in the base of the spine and a bit in between the shoulder blades, on the spine. May be I shouldn't focus on 3rd eye, heart chakra or the 10th gate but instead wherever the sensation is. Next time I will try that. But what do I do about getting tired and sleepy. If I do it laying down, its much easier and more enjoyable as I feel the energy rushing through.

Meditation on special days is rewarding
For days I couldn't meditate due to blocked nose and flu. Some days I surprise myself. It is as if I am not the same person who places meditation as the number 1 priority. I wonder if certain foods change your metabolism so much that it affects your thinking so badly as if I never had any mystic experiences and as if meditation is simply to calm your mind and a secondary priority. With the experiences I have had and the way I use to be - a person longing to mediate any minute I get, why things change? It use to be the best thing ever. How did other things and people took priority over meditation and over my relationship with my God? Has God forgotten me? I had these doubts and from last few days I prayed for forgiveness, if I have done anything wrong and begged for the gift of meditation again.
Today is Diwali and I realised that while asleep I was meditating. I remembered that today is Diwali and woke up to meditate. I prayed to Guru Hargobind, Bandi chhor Guru, to relieve me from my five vises - Anger, Greed, Lust, Attachment and EGO and grant me the grace to always remember God. I was happy with my session. Surprisingly good session even with my blocked nose. Thanks to my Guru.

Just checked the Biorhythms chart on biorhythm-calculator . I am not surprised how low I have been feeling. From last 9 days my Intellectual and Emotional energy has been on Zero and below. These should start picking up pace now. Today my physical energy was on the highest. Intuitive energy is on the lower scale and going further down.
On another note I read this quote today, "Learning makes a good man better and ill man worse." This has made me seriously think about this blog being available for anyone to read. Should it have restricted access, I wonder. Some pakhandi could read the things here and pretend they have had these as his first hand experiences and mislead public. I trust my Guru so far to send the right people here who are looking for sincere guidance for personal spiritual growth and not for any show-off purpose.

Harmonious Spiritual Connection and Astral Travel
Steve G. Jones sells Astral projection CDs on a website. He writes about the state of Harmonious Spiritual Connection
and says that in this state you will be able to enter the astral planes and:
and says that in this state you will be able to enter the astral planes and:
- Develop the highest levels of ESP, allowing you to tap into unknown information an live a life enriched by reliable and rich psychic guidance
- Effortlessly access the Akashic Records, and use this unlimited reservoir of wisdom to understand your past, control your present and predict your future
- Efficiently read other people’s auras and gain a deep understanding of a person’s true nature and motivations
- Enjoy a vivid and exciting *journey to any location in the physical and astral realms, whether it’s a sweeping flight across the Greek islands, a journey through outer space, or an exploration of a far-off astral plane
- Rally your friends and family for group astral projection sessions, and experience exhilarating astral adventures together
- Accomplish otherwise “superhuman” feats like soaring freely through astral airspace and penetrating even the most solid substances
- Explore your past lives, and understand the source of your innermost aspirations, limitations and emotions
- Peek into the future so you can understand your destiny and predict upcoming global events
- Reconstruct your astral body into any shape and form you desire
- I myself wouldn't bother buying someone elses CDs especially when you can meditate and have the experiences without asking for them. I like the idea that one can direct their journey. Before I was thinking why waste time on Astral projection but then realised that God never gives you anything that you don't need including joy and pain. So may be I had the first experience as result of my request that I wanted to attend Kirtan Diwans that I miss out on as I can't leave my family and my remote location is a disadvantage. So there is a better use of this skill, if and when I learnt to master it. There is always a constructive way of using a gift. Thank you God! Listen to the Shabad - Tu Chao Sajjan Mandeya

Health Problems and alternative methods of diagnosis
My deceased dad has been giving me messages since the beginning of September, that there is a problem affecting my married life. I couldn't understand what he meant. The second time he came in my meditation, he showed my husband struggling to guard me against something. So my dad stood behind him and punched a big hole in my right ribcage on the lower side, with a slingshot. I asked what was he doing, worried that it was going to hurt a lot and surely it did. It seemed that it was necessary and he had no other choice. I felt the pain for someday and the redness stayed for a couple of days.
A week ago he came again in my meditation and looked unhappy as if his effort didn't bear fruit. I asked and understood that I hadn't done anything about my health problem that his effort didn't cure. So on Thursday, I was on the internet and searched for 'pain in lower right ribcage' and read a few things on a health forum which prompted me to see my doctor immediately.
My doctor said that it can be anything from Liver, Kidney, Spleen, large intestine or gallbladder stones problem. The Dr said that if there is a problem in the large intestine then one experiences pain in different parts of the body randomly. It rang truth. If you see the points on the gallbladder meridian, I have been having pain in all these areas at different times, including the burning sensation in the neck on the right hand side as shown in the coloured diagram, in the light blue.
On Saturday, while I was at Bellingen market, I visited my friend Kevin who does message there, to see if he could pick up what problem I have. While he was busy with a client, I sat down wondering how should I tell this man why I think I have a health problem. Then I asked my dad, if you are able to tell me that I have a problem, why don't you speak and tell me which organ has the problem rather than showing me signs that I can't understand for days. A few minutes later I felt the word 'Gurda'. I didn't know what bodypart is 'Gurda' a punjabi word. I thought it was Kidney but wondered why if it was Liver since it was a singular word that I had heard.
Kevin did the feet message and couldn't pick anything serious but when I suggested the problem area, he did muscle testing again and intuitively picked up Liver as the problem area. He asked me to choose a number between 1-10 and I picked up 4 which is the number for Liver again. He then read the emotional reasons for liver problem and they fitted with how I had been feeling. Then he asked me to choose a number between 1-64 for a flower. I chose 38 which was for Southern Cross flower and it also mentioned the emotional feelings same as number 4 for the organs.
On Sunday, I went to the temple and asked the ladies and found out that Gurda means Liver not Kidney. I am getting my ultrasound done in two days to find out. From what I have now seen on the internet, my Gallbladder meridian is definitely blocked as well as my Spleen / pancreas Meridian.

Number 555 is for the fire element?
After my first astral travel experience, as mentioned in the last blog, if that's what it was; I received this knowledge that no. 555 is the no. of fire element. I wondered if I should understand it to be the number of Air element as I have just finished astral travel and just learnt to control the air element. As I thought this I saw the vision of number 555 written in fire. Then I thought that may be I actually left my body through the Solar Plexus, the element of fire and that is why more importantly I have learnt about the fire and hence the no. of fire element.
What am I suppose to use this 555 for? I didn't get the time to ask as the alarm went off and distracted my session. Searching on google, all I have found so far is this site on The Pentagram which says,
"The Pentagram (5) represents Spirit or God (1) united with the physical Universe (4). It is the incarnation of Spirit into physical form through the four Elements for the sake of experience and self-realization. It is only by physical incarnation that the Spirit can realize its true nature, its potential, and its transcendence. The four Elements are the means by which Spirit can experience its infinite possibilities of self-expression; the finite is the means to the realization of the Infinite.
The Elements, which constitute man's earthly existence, including his inner Self, are linked with the five points of the Pentagram. These are Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit. The uppermost point is that of Spirit, the essence and matrix of the four Elements; the top left point is that of Air; the top right point is that of Water; the bottom left point is that of Earth; and the bottom right point is that of Fire. Also linked with the five points of the Pentagram are the five Hebrew letters, which compose the Divine Name of Yeheshuah. This Name represents the operation of the Holy Spirit in the midst of the Elements."
During my 2nd last meditation, I had experienced extra energy pouring into my right hand side of the belly ( 2 inches above the bellybotton and three 3 inches to the right). I had thought that it was just healing that space cos we had removed an energy cord from that area. Is that the point of Fire element? I did see the vision of a fire portal opening just before I felt the air above my head. Did the hot fire triggered the air to rotate and helped me fly? It sounds so crazy for those who don't believe in astral travel. I sound like a lunnytune. What can I say. Welcome to the world of meditation and mystery.
According to the site, wise people stay silent. I shouldn't write all this in a blog open to the public, but I hate secrecy. Those who are seeking such knowledge should have access to it. If God doesn't Will them to find it, they won't. Here is what the Pentagram site says,
"The number of the Pentagram is five, which is the number of the Atu of Thoth called "The Hierophant", who represents the Perfected Man or Adept. The Adept is He who is able "to Know, to Dare, to Will, and to Keep Silent." These are the Four Powers of the Sphinx; and these Four Powers when attained are crowned by a fifth power, "to Go", which is the function of a god. It is the act of doing one's True Will, like a star flaming forth on its own self-determined orbit, free to fulfill its cosmic destiny in the celestial scheme of the Infinite Universe. Like the Elements, these Powers are linked with the five points of the Pentagram.
Knowledge corresponds to the point of Air,
Courage corresponds to the point of Fire,
Will corresponds to the point of Earth,
Silence corresponds to the point of Water, and
To Go corresponds with the uppermost point, which is attributed to Spirit."
When a man attains true knowledge he has control over the Element of Air; when he dares what is true he has control over the Element of Fire; when he wills what is right he has control over the Element of Earth; and when he keeps perfect silence he has control over the Element of Water. When the Magician exercises such control, he is then able "to Go", to do his True Will and to express his True Self. The Blazing Pentagram or Sign of Magical Omnipotence symbolizes this operation.
If the above is true, then where is God's Will / Hukam as Guru Nanak said to obey? This sounds more like a saucerer's / a magician's / a satan's way.
I want to follow Guru Nanak's way, to obey God's Will. Whatever God Will's for me is my destiny and I do not want to interfere with his creation. I am happy to be part of his game plan than to play my own game. O' Guru Nanak, please guide me. Why did I receive this knowledge and why I experienced this strange journey. Is this God's Will or my desires fulfilling? Should I believe this last para that I read after having the doubts about what the path I am walking on,
"The Inverted Pentagram, from the profane point of view, represents the total reversal of the above ideas, turning man upside down, thus placing him in a position contrary to the divine order. It has been said that this Inverted Pentagram represents the Elements dominating or ruling over the Spirit of Man, therefore representing a false way of life, being the way of evil. But this, in fact, can be very misleading; for it is not really a matter of the Elements dominating Spirit; rather is it a matter of the True Will or True Self being concealed beneath the Elements, to be discovered by eliminating all elemental impurities which veil the truth of the soul. It is an alchemical formula of supreme importance.
For the Alchemist it means that he must eliminate all elemental impurities from his First Matter. The True Self is concealed in the World of the Elements and may be found in the depths thereof. This is the doctrine of initiation. Thus is the Inverted Pentagram a most holy symbol to the Wise, but an evil symbol unto the profane. It is, in fact, a symbol of Pan, The All. To experience and to be consciously All is the supreme work of the Initiates and the final work of all mankind. The All is the Absolute, God, or the One Self. Pan is the mythological representation of The All. Thus is the Inverted Pentagram again a most holy symbol. Inverted or not, the Pentagram is a symbol of Man as God."
The Pentagram, or Pentalpha, is composed of five A's. A is Aleph in the Magical Alphabet, and the number of Aleph spelled in full is 111 (Aleph-Lamed-Peh). 5 x 111 = 555, which is the number of HAD spelled in full (H=10+A=111+D=434). Thus the Pentagram is a symbol of HAD, the flame that burns in every heart of man and in the core of every Star; He is the Great Invisible Center of Life that is omnipresent, symbolized by the Sun, the center of our Solar System. The following info is from the site: http://www.whale.to/b/5_h.html accessed on 21/09/11.
Number 5 - Adventure, change, freedom, exploration, variety, sensuality, unattached, curious, experienced, periodicity, knowledge seeker, knowledge teacher, traveler, imagination, child-like, playful, five senses (taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing).

The number for Mankind is 555. 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 = 6
'55, 555, 55:55' the universe is making changes for you whether you ask for it or not. Allow the currents to take you into a new future full of possibilities still hidden from you at this point of seeing. Hold the vision until you land on the new shore.

Occultists multiply and add numbers in order to create other sacred numbers -- they also group numbers in ways that will be recognizable to other occultists. They often use the principle of intensification, that greater power is derived from groupings. Regarding the number 3, intensification is achieved when it is shown as 33, or 333. Obviously twice 333 is 666. The use of 333 by occultists is a blind to conceal the more offensive 666. 333 can serve as an "occult signature" when it is used to clothe an event in time -- only fellow travelers will recognize this signature (remember 555?). Similarly, 999 also conceals 666. Likewise, 39 conceals 13. Hitler chose to begin WW2 in '39. Thrice 11 is 33, and both Roosevelt and Hitler came to power in '33. Both were committed to the establishment of the New World Order.

Flying in meditation, controlling the air element
I had the most unpredictable meditation session today. I haven't read about this anywhere, so I wasn't aware that such things happen.
I was lying in my husband's room when I started the breathing to pull the pranic and the kundalini energy together. I decided to have the pranic energy go down from the left hand side of my body and kundalini come up the right hand side. I couldn't feel pranic energy but felt the kundalini energy coming up from both feet as it should. I noticed a green eye in the room that made me feel uncomfortable. It wasn't evil but had no expression like a mask. I ignored it twice. Soon I was feeling disturbed by john's energy as he rolled over. So I decided to move to my bed in my meditation room. I checked the time was 3.35am.
I sat down and started meditation by saying Moolmantra words over the chakra points. This technique that I developed or should say got it by intuition is mentioned in an older blog sent last month. Instead of saying a word once, I kept saying it over the same point until I felt the sensation, starting from the 10th gate, dasam war,7th chakra.
I am not sure if the meditation was too strong or the moon was on right position or it was the right day of my menstrual cycle (6th-7th day). As I was feeling the sensation at each point, I also saw portals opening at third eye and also a fire portal on solar plexus. I have never felt them so alive, as if ready to open bigger and very inviting. I finished the moolmantra and sat quietly focusing on the breathing. It was great but I also noticed that I could see some unpleasent entities looking at me. I ignored them. Then I saw the death skull very clearly. I blew it away with my breath and drew a purple spiral and asked for protection. I focused on my breathing again and tried to draw the pranic energy from above. After some time, I felt sleepy. Instead of lying down, I placed a pillow between the bedhead and myself and leaned on it and continued focusing on the breath.
Next I saw myself in an underground area. There was nothing else there but soil/ earth element. There was enough space around and above me, as much in my actual room. It was like a cave with a tunnel on one side to come in and out of it.
Suddenly I felt a lot of air rotating above my head like the fan of a helicopter and commented to stop it. I received the intution that the air above my head is to help me fly. I got excited.
The next second I was lifted near the roof of the room. I flew out of that earth room somehow and started going straight up. I felt the heavy rain and received the confirmation that it is actually raining so its Ok to feel it, but I wasn't wet. Then I couldn't feel the rain. I was above all the houses. Within seconds I was so high that I could now see the mountains far below and houses were unnoticeable.
I thought I was too high. I was scared and asked to go down but instead kept going up. I saw the mouth of the tunnel from which I came clearly. It was well above the ground and most prominent of all things I could see. So I focused on it and instructed myself to go down.
I came down enough to see the houses. I looked and asked, "Which one is mine". "Whichever one I like", I got the intuition. I couldn't recognise any of them as mine, neither did I like any of them. They were Indian city style houses that I didn't like. I was looking for a modern Australian style new house.
I saw one lady outside her house, (with a baby?). It was quite dark. I was worried that someone will see me flying above the houses and that won't be good. And how long can I keep flying and searching, may be I should land. So I came to the ground.
Then I realised that it would take be much longer walking through the streets than to fly above and search. So I asked to rise again and upon realising that I won't be able to solve this problem, asked to be taken to the Gurdwara / Sikh temple and said that my Guru will know where I should go. At this point I saw the corner light of a Gurdwara's roof. The gurdwara was white. I was on the tar road of the Gurdwara near a tap. I washed my younger son's hands as they had dry leafy stuff on them, as if to get ready to go to the temple. Next I was in my body and I said to myself, "Well, that was an experience!"
The very next second I heard a noise of something falling. Later I realised the mirror that was sitting on my tallboy with one side hanging towards the window had fallen down. Was it my entry through the window that made it fall down, I had wondered. My husbands alarm clock went off. I went to turn the alarm off, it was 4.33am not 4.30am. Was it the second time it went off? Was it the first alarm that helped me come back in my body?
I thanked for a great experience but also felt the shallowness of the experience. What did I achieve? I didn't feel divine peace like when I do after seeing my Guru or seeing or going into that vast nothingness where the universe talks and gives me knowledge. So I asked Guru Nanak that I only want to go astral travelling if he would go with me. It's no point going if he is not with me to show me all that I want him to show me. I want to be his astral companion, not travel alone.
What was the meaning of the death skull before the travel? Was it a warning? If I had not asked for my Guru to take me to my house, and I had been unable to find it, would I have been considered dead in the physical body? What would have happened to my soul then?
I wasn't intending to go astral traveling? I don't know enough about it. I have often wondered about astral travel and have always wised to be Guru Nanak's astral companion forever. I was looking for some astral travel books a few days ago just out of curosity but my library doesn't have any. The websites don't give much info. Besides I was only browsing, I hadn't had the time to read anything other than try to fall asleep bit.
Why were those unknown entities watching me? When I first started serious meditation, then I use to see such entities but after my dad came and gave me purple spiral of protection, I didn't see any of those. Why again?

Marriage of pranic and kundalini energy
On Friday morning, since the family was camping in Bellingen Global Carnival, I found the house so peaceful and did a great meditation. I pulled the pranic energy from above and the kundalini energy from below with the same breath. Then I prayed to mingle the two energies. I had the most fantastic sensation for so long. I felt extra sensation on the points on my belly where the energy cords of someone else had been recently removed. I gathered that this mixed energy was healing the body. Then I saw two tiny green and purple energy bubbles, half a cm in diameter. I decided to get inside the green bubble first and expand it, so it covered my whole body and healed it for over 10 minutes. Then I tried to get the purple bubble to come over the green bubble, so I had protection after the healing. I need both. I have only ever experienced one energy sensation before, never the pranic and the kundalini together. Never before had the energy sensation lasted for so long, at least half an hour. When I finished it was 7.15am. John rung at 6.30 am and I didn't pick up the call as I was enjoying the session. I must have started meditation at least at 5am, if not before.

Qigong meditation
Note in the meditation below, the Pranic energy is being called the Heaven energy and Kundalini energy is Earth energy.

Meditation is an exercise that can be both the simplest and the hardest to perform. It is simple in that all you need is yourself. It is the hardest because it requires the discipline to do it. Having a partner really helps; doing meditation with a group makes the experience even easier with the added effect of the creation and exposure to the massive healing energy of the group.
Meditation has been compared to self-hypnosis. Guided meditation is very much related to (some feel it is) hypnosis. There are many tapes or CDs with a myriad of guided meditations, each one created for a specific purpose: quitting smoking, stress relief, building creativity, building intuitive/psychic abilities, praying.
Some feel that meditating is listening to your creator, while praying is talking to your creator.
At a seminar conducted by Deepak Chopra, he described the purpose of meditation is: to slip between the cracks of reality to that place of unlimited possibilities.
In this section, we will teach you a basic meditation, the Qigong Small Universe Meditation, and probably the most healing meditation of Qigong, the Rainbow Meditation, which is used for serious illnesses such as AIDS and Cancer.
The Setting
Quiet is the key. You may choose soft music, which most people like because it does cover up the outdoor noises. There are some wonderful selections to meditate to. Stephen Halpern has created some of the best healing and meditation music available. A lot of people like to use music with subliminal messages, though there is very little evidence that subliminal tapes and CDs do anything beyond make money for the producers.
The current music playing is called "Dreams," written by Margi Harrell. You can visit her and her son's site at http://www.llerrah.com.
Most like to meditate at night. Lighting a single candle to focus on while settling your eyes is a very good technique.
Find a comfortable chair. Your body should be sitting upright, so put something, a pillow, in the small of your back. You can sit on the floor; the lotus position (legs folded over each other) is supposed to produce the highest states, however, if you’re new to this, just crossing your legs is enough. If you are sitting in a chair, both feet must be on the ground. In the Qigong meditations, both feet must be pointed straight ahead. Your tongue is resting against the roof of your mouth, just behind the teeth. Your chin should be pulled back so that your spine is straight. The reason for the "straightness" of this position is to allow a smooth flow of energy. Your hands should rest on your legs, face up.
Breathing is from the tummy. It is called baby breathing. As adults, when we take in a deep breath, our chest expands and our shoulders rise. Watch a baby when it is breathing: its tummy expands, because it is breathing into its tummy. When you breathe in, breathe into your tummy. Let the diaphragm expand downward.
Focus your eyes on a distant point (or on the candle, if you have one), and listen to your breathing. Listening to the breath is the best possible technique to keep focused. Let the stress of the day roll off of you. If something comes into your mind while meditating, don’t scold yourself; just acknowledge it and push it aside. Then focus on your breathing.
Grounding
Though not necessary, this is a particular technique that I and many others employ: connecting oneself to the earth. Picture a chain dangling from your coccyx. It can be any color of your choice. As you begin to relax, focusing on that point in the distance, picture a chain dangling from your coccyx, write your name and date on the chain, and picture it going through the floor of your home, (through the rooms below, if there are any), through the ground, through the water table, and down to the center of the earth. If you are particularly stressed that day, when you breathe out, with each out-breath, picture the stress and negative energy being expelled down that chain to the center of the earth.
Progressive Relaxation
This is a technique used widely by hypnotherapists. You start by focusing on your feet. As you breathe in, feel the energy enter your feet. It is relaxing energy. Then progress up the leg. With each breath, pull healing, relaxing energy into the next higher part of your body, and breathe out the negative, stressful energy. Do this for every part of your body to the top of your head.
You will find after a while, or perhaps right away, that you can actually feel the healing, relaxing energy enter the part you focus on.
While focusing on this process, your eyelids will get heavy, your focus on that distant point will waiver; just let your eyes close and continue on.
The Meditation
Once relaxed, now what do you do? Nothing. This is the purpose of meditation: to go within and simply listen. Again, if something comes into your consciousness, acknowledge it and push it aside. You can think about it later. For now, you are merely concentrating on your breathing and listening to the universe.
The Cleansing Meditation
This meditation fills your body with earth (yin) and heaven (yang) energy. It recharges the two external meridians (not associated with any organ systems) called the Governing Body and the Conception Vessel, both of which hold recharging energy for the organ systems. I've seen this meditation practiced using "grace" instead of "qi." You simply fill each cell in your body with "grace."
When you are ready, relaxed, and focused, picture energy traveling progressively (like the progressive relaxation) up your legs, thighs, hips, etc. Feel and picture the energy recharging, filling the organs; in your mind you can name the parts. As the energy reaches your perineum, that point between your genitalia and your anus, picture it meeting the energy coming straight up from the ground to that point. Continue up and when you reach the shoulders, picture it going down your arms and up out of your hands. When that energy reaches your shoulders, continue up your neck, face, to the top of your head, where like a water sprout, it spills out (a foot or so) above your head then splashes over you and through you back to the earth where it starts the cycle over again.
Next you will picture the heaven energy coming down through the top of your head, neck, shoulders, into your back, down your back, and when it reaches the hands, comes into the palms of your hands (which are face up) and up your arms to your shoulders where it travels down your body to your perineum. At this point, it continues straight down the ground and down your legs. I finally spills out your feet (about a foot or so) into the ground where it splashes up and through you and out your head where it starts its journey again. The really tough part of this meditation is to try and picture both energies traveling through you at the same time. Spend five, ten, fifteen minutes picturing this flow of energy through you and about you.
The Governing Body and Conception Vessel meet in your mouth. This is why during Qigong, Tai Chi, and our meditations we keep the tongue at the roof of the mouth: to make this connection. Focus on your mouth, and then follow an imaginary line down your chin to your throat, and rest your attention there for a bit, and then to your heart. At each point mentioned, keep your focus there for a small bit before moving on. Next to your diaphragm, then to the Tan Tien (pronounced Dan Tien; just an inch below your navel), then to your perineum. Next to your coccyx, then lower back, mid back, between your shoulders, base of the neck, back of the head, top of the head, forehead, and back to your mouth.
Take your time during this exercise. You’re not in a hurry.
Finally, take a deep breath and spread your hands out to your side (as you do at the end of Spring Forest Qigong), and as you breathe out, bring your hands together gathering energy between them. If you’ve felt this energy during Spring Forest, you will probably feel it now. This is a time to do some specific healing. If you have a part, an organ, something that needs healing, in your mind, take it from its place and put it (with your mind) between your hands, and let it recharge within the energy of the field between your hand. Do this as long as you feel it necessary. Then, before returning that part to its normal place, send healing energy to the area around it, healing the edges, and return it.
When you end your meditation, some like to lean forward with both hands and touch the ground. Sort of a small grounding gesture. Then, as always, you will do a self massage, the minimum being the face, hair, and ears.
The Rainbow Meditation
Color is very healing. Many hospitals have redecorated to avoid the white, sterile, hospital look and feel. Here we will be using the full spectrum of the rainbow for a deep, deep healing.
After you have relaxed, done your progressive relaxation, your eyes are closed and you are focusing on your breathing. Picture a rainbow off in the distance. As you gaze and meditate on the colors of the rainbow it begins to turn. Rainbows don’t turn. We see them only in the "broadside" view. But this rainbow will start to turn. One end will recede away from you while the other approaches you. It gets nearer, and nearer, and nearer. Finally it is resting over you. The energy and color from the rainbow pass through your body (very much like the heaven energy does in the Small Universe Meditation), goes into the ground and comes up at the other end of the rainbow, again flowing into you, passing through you, until this one time when the energy reaches your feet, like the graphic below, it stops at your feet and begins to fill your body with its color and light and healing. Let it slowly fill your body. Up, up, up. When you are full, you cap it off and bask in its energy. Feel the color and light and energy and grace fill every cell in your body, healing every cell in your body. Meditate on this.
The secret to healing is intent. You don’t have to believe anything, but you must be open minded. Open to the unlimited possibilities of the universe. You can block Qigong healing if you want. In fact, you can block the effect of antibiotics if you want. The mind is a wonderful and powerful thing. Be open, be free, and strengthen only your intent.

Past life regression
I have never done past life regression but have definately done afuture one by accident. In my session all I was doing was breathing shallow from bboth nostrals, as if i was sniffing and trying to smell something. Within minutes I saw an old lady who asked me to walk behind her and too me to her house. Later I asked my friend who told me this technique, who has done Vippassana meditation, "Who was this lady in my meditation?" She replied, "Are you sure that all the ladies in your meditation were not yourself in different stages of life?" When she said this, it clicked to me that this old lady had same long hair as myself and the same body frame. And strange enough I walked behind her as if I was her shadow and didn't see myself physically in it.
She the technique for past life regression mentioned in the source pasted below. I have never tried it, see how you go and please leave comments.
http://www.healpastlives.com/pastlf/exercise/exregres.htm#Background
Background: Everyone has the ability to access their own past lives. You can train yourself to access your own past life memories through a past life regression that you conduct on your own at home. [Audio Available]
Goal: The goal of this exercise is to allow you to explore your past lives while alone in a safe and pleasant manner.
Preparation:
1. Most people need to do this exercise daily for at least a month before they begin to get anything that is meaningful about their past lives. So you will probably need to have some patience with the process. Yet if you are patient and have a sincere desire to do further past life journeying, you will be successful.
2. Remember to do this process slowly. You must focus on completely relaxing your body and your mind so that images of your past lives can be brought gently into your conscious awareness. Each time you do this exercise you will go ever more deeply into yourself. The deeper you go, the more answers you get.
3. Ask for your Higher Self, your Guides, your Guardian angels, and whatever other servants of the universe you like to be present for the entire session and to keep you safe and protected at all times.
4. Being comfortable is the key. You can lie down (recommended) or sit up. If you opt to sit up, you must be supported and feel fully relaxed and comfortable. Be sure to loosen any restrictive clothing
5. Do this exercise in a peaceful place where you will be completely quiet and undisturbed for the entire session when you are fairly well rested (so you will NOT fall asleep) . This entire exercise should last for NO longer than 45 minutes. Set an alarm or timer to snap you out of it should the session run longer.
6. Pick a special intention for you past life journey. It could be "what I most need to see", "what I most need to heal", or "the explanation for my life's purpose", "about a past personality", or "a special need".
How to Do This Exercise:
1. Take some deep, refreshing breaths until you are totally comfortable and relaxed in whatever position you have chosen (it should take you no more than 3 minutes to get comfortable).
2. Close your eyes and envision a golden white ball of healing light. Send that ball of healing light to each part of your body in turn. Start with your feet, go up your calves, over your knees, along your thighs, through you hips and stomach, along your torso, though your chest and heart, along your shoulders, along your arms, to your hands, back up to your neck, and through your head until you are relaxed.
a. Scan your entire body looking for any places that are not relaxed. Immediately send relaxation to any part of your body that is tense. Do that until you are totally relaxed and peaceful.
b. You should be in a place of perfect peace and stillness. Your body should now be filled with beautiful healing light. Take a moment to bask in it: feel it's warmth and it's safety.
3. Go inside and connect with your inner vision. On the screen of your mind, imagine a closed door at the bottom of a staircase. See yourself walking to the staircase. See yourself slowly walking down the stairs. When you get to the bottom of the stairs, you will see two things.
a. On the LEFT side, there is a very comfortable couch. You will rest on it for a moment while you gather your thoughts about what you want to get from your journey through time.
b. On the RIGHT side, there is a door with big red letters on it which say "MY PAST LIVES". Right now, the door is closed. Behind the door is the gateway to your past lives.
4. While you are sitting or lying on the comfortable couch, let the love of the universe surround you. Know that at all times, you are completely safe and protected by all your guides.
a. If you do not want to go through the door, that is just fine. It does not matter why. Give yourself permission to relax and just enjoy being on the comfortable couch.
b. If you do want to go through the door, rise from the couch and move in front of the door.
5. Before starting your journey back through time, you need to declare the following to the universe. This is absolutely necessary to make sure that your past life journey is a safe and pleasant one.
a. "Throughout this journey through my past lives, I am always completely safe and protected."
b. "I will see, hear, and experience everything about my past lives as if I was watching a movie. Just as a movie cannot harm me, my journey through my past lives cannot harm me."
c. "I am clear on my intention for my past life journey which is…. (what you prepared above)."
6. Open the door. If the door does NOT open, then the universe is telling you to go back to the couch. If you chose to continue, it is your choice. Just consider that it might be for your own good to stop. When you are ready, go inside the "Past Life Room". Inside this room, you will see two things.
a. On the wall of the "Past Life Room", there is a WHITE SCREEN with BLINDS over it that is shut and down.
b. On either side of the white screen are two buttons: one is GREEN and one is RED.
c. On the LEFT, the GREEN button opens the blinds and shows you your past lives.
d. On the RIGHT, the RED button closes the blinds and takes to back to the safe, comfy couch.
7. When the blinds go up, you will see an image of yourself in a past life. This will be the past life that you most need to see or the past life that most closely matches your special intention.
a. Look at yourself in the screen. Once you have a clear view of the individual who was you in a past life say "Action". The movie of you in this past life will not start rolling until you do so.
b. If you are having difficulty seeing yourself on the Past Life Screen, ask to see the feet of your past life personality. Try to see what it is that you are wearing on your feet. Are they shoes, sandals, boots, or are your feet bare?
c. Once you see your feet, slowly look up to see the rest of you. Once you are in focus, look at yourself on the screen. Take a moment to steady the image, then say "Action!".
8. Whenever you are ready, press the GREEN button to open the blinds and begin your journey. The first time keep your journey to 20 or 30 minutes. Only go longer once you have had more practice.
9. Whenever you feel your journey has ended or if the alarm goes off, it is time to come back. Reach to your right and press the RED button. You will be back at the comfortable couch. Take a few minutes to rest there. Then get up and walk back up the staircase to where you began your journey.
Like a deep sea diver come back up slowly to the surface of your conscious awareness. You have been to a deep place within you and you must re-adjust to your normal waking state.
Example: The point of doing this exercise is to delve into your past lives. Unlike a movie, this is always an intensely personal journey that will speak to you on many levels. It will be different for everyone since everyone is unique. When you first start journeying through time, ask to be shown pleasant past life images so you can master the process. I wish you well on your journeys to the inner worlds.

New revelation about elements and pranic and kundalini energy
I am so thrilled to realize after my short meditation today that Kundalini Energy is Fire / heat while Pranic Energy is Water / cold. The body is Earth that holds all other elements, just like the planet earth. The Soul is Ether and the third eye is the Air? I am not sure about the last two yet.
Now I understand why when anyone starts breath meditation without any theoretical knowledge feels the heat coming out of the feet and possibly hands as well. I didn't know what to do with that heat. Kundalini energy awakens from the feet chakra to the base of the spine but without the knowledge on how to visualize and move the energy up willingly creates a problem until the person works something out.
The point that was made clear to me was that if the body is Earth and Kundalini is hot, your desires are the seeds but they can't grow and realise their potential without the water, the pranic energy from above. I have always believed that awakening the pranic energy is much safer and rewarding. Awakening kundalini without pranic energy is playing with fire and is dangerous.
To activate pranic energy you need to focus on a space one hand above your head and draw it inside you with incoming breath and either let it go back out or expand a specific chakra with the exhalation, whatever works for you. You will feel the sensation on the top of your head on the seventh chakra. If you are lucky, you might feel the raindrops, water flowing down or flooding inside your body. Depending upon the extent of the energy, you might feel heavy vibration as if your whole body is shaking. Believe me, do not be scared, just enjoy as you will be and do not worry about other people seeing you shaking as your physical body is actually not shaking at all. Its your etheric body separating itself from the physical body, which is a great thing.
Once you can access pranic energy, the meditation should involve drawing pranic energy from above and kundalini from below and meeting in the heart chakra. If you can practice this, you are doing great but its still an exercise. The essence of meditation is to cultivate love and gratitude towards God / creator /Universe. Heart centre is the seat of the Golden city of God / Soul. Without love, the gates do not open and all the previous efforts are wasted. If love/gratitude is felt, the pranic energy flow will increase and the seeds will germinate. All your unmentioned desires will start being fulfilled in the next few months, if the magic happended and you experienced something. But do have focus on any desire other that the one to know and meet God. Pretending doesn't help really, you must be a true seeker and believe me this changes from day to day. Some days you are seeking truthfully and other days you are just performing the ritual and doing an exercise you don't get out of practice and lazy. That's Ok too, keep trying and you might succeed one day.
Naam Japat Man Harya Hoi
Remembering God / Meditating, you heart blossoms like the fields become lust green after rain.

Moolmantra to open all chakras
I am so pleased with my new technique that I used this morning. I started saying Ek onkar and focused on the Seventh Chakra / Dasam Dwar. Then I moved my attention to the
3rd eye and said Satnam,
Karta purakh on throat,
Nirbhau Nirvair on Heart,
Akal Murat on Solar Plexus front side,
Ajuni on Secral front side,
Saibhang on Base
Then moved up towards the spine side of the chakra
Gurprasad jap on secral,
Aad Sach on Solar plexus,
jugad sach on Heart,
Hai Bhi Sach on Pineal Gland,
Nanak Hosi Bhi Sach on the point on the head that is one hand back from the seventh chakra.
I did this continuously for 15 minutes and enjoyed every bit of it from the first moment and no thoughts came in my mind. There was no time for thoughts an the focus was changing continuously but I enjoyed while I felt the vibration of each chakra corresponding with the shabad / sound.
I will try this method again to calm all thoughts. More interestingly I payed attention to each word in the mantra and realised how each word i said actually was mentioning the properties of that chakra and how God is different from the one that comes in the cycle of life and death. For example, I said Ajuni on the Sacrel chakra, the chakra representative of the birth cycle, Aad Sach on Solar Plexus, the centre of personal power and authority, Nirbhao Nirvair on heart, the centre which allows love and fear to prevail.

Benefits of listening - Japji Sahib explained by Osho
Guru Nanak says in Japji Sahib - Suniyai - Listen - By listening ....
Osho explains in this pauri / sutra
Whenever your thoughts become silent, your breath changes, becomes slower. Then your body sits at 90 degree angle, you will notice light energy rising above from the base of spine and you will feel happy. That's why the base of spine is called Merudand. When your energy waves rise up from seventh chakra, you will become connected to universe / Braham.
Suniyai uthsath ka isnaan.
Within the body there are 68 points, from whom the sin is committed. Moving the light energy from one point and taking it to the other point, this is called pilgrimage, not traveling outside to various religious places.
The only bad companion is thought. Thought urges you to commit sin. All sin is committed by thought. Thought is an addiction, it does not have answers.
Listening has the answers. Listening is Dhyana, where there are no thoughts. Listening gives the state of Anand.
Thought is like a small spoon that you are using to measure an ocean. You will fail if you try doing so. Listening is the key.
